Poplar Pre-School (CIO)

Welcome

Our pre-school accepts children between the ages of 2¼ years and starting school age. We run morning and afternoon sessions. Our morning sessions are from 9am - 12pm and our afternoon sessions from 12pm - 3pm (the afternoon sessions incorporate lunch into them and therefore children need to bring a packed lunch if staying for an afternoon session). 

Once a child is eligible to receive early years universal funding (term after their 3rd birthday) we will be looking for them to stay for an afternoon or afternoons and they can stay all day if you wish.

We are a registered charity run by trustees with paid qualified staff and an events team who are parent volunteers and help with important fundraising . We are members of the Early Years Alliance and are registered with OFSTED.

We are a purposed built pre-school and have two rooms - Squirrels and Hedgehogs. Each takes children of all ages. Normally we operate a free flow policy whereby the children are able to choose where they play and with whom. They can go into either room and the outside area as they choose.
