Having never been to a setting before we were anxious as to how our son would settle in to life at Poplar but we were in awe of how quickly he felt happy and secure. All of the staff have made him feel welcome and supported him throughout his time here. His progress socially has come on leaps and bounds and I love that Elijah has felt happy to be himself every day! The whole team at Poplar are wonderful and have made a fantastic community, particularly with all of the events we have been able to attend this year. Our daughter has attended poplar pre-school since January 2026 and we could not be happier with our choice. The team are incredibly caring, patient and truly go above and beyond to support every child. We have seen such wonderful development in her confidence, social skills and curiosity since joining. The environment is safe, stimulating and full of fun activities. We always feel welcome and informed about her day. Raife has loved his time at preschool. Since he started he has grown in confidence and independence. He has made a lovely group of friends and loves his key worker Kate as well as all the members of staff within the preschool. He enjoys the variety of activities and comes home talking about all the things he has done and often with his artwork and other creations. We will all miss the preschool and staff when he leaves. My daughter’s time at Poplar Preschool has been absolutely wonderful, the staff are caring, kind, supportive, professional and go the extra mile. The whole team are so friendly and approachable and it is clear they all have such wonderful bonds with the children and genuine interest for their development. Poplar Pre-school is an amazing school. We love all warmed-heart staffs, safe, cosy, exploring setting and preparation of kids stepping up to Primary School. Thank you for all your kind cares and teaching to Jonah. He had quick pick up in Poplar Pre-school and he felt easy to explore what he liked to do everyday. He kept sharing when he did in school, and people he met and played with. Last but not least, the lovely sofa and carpet corner provided him a good rest which he will definitely miss it! I will be sad to say goodbye to poplar preschool. We have been coming as a family for almost 10 years. All 3 of my boys have had a brilliant time & made lovely friends & memories. The staff have always shown us so much love, kindness & constantly supported & encouraged the boys to do their very best in all areas. The preschool has provided a fantastic foundation for each of my children & massively prepared them for their primary school journey to begin. We are very grateful & will miss you all. Poplar preschool has been a great preschool for our son. All the staff have been supportive, nurturing and knowledgeable. They’ve gone above and beyond gaining extra support for him and ensuring that when leaving he has ongoing support in place to begin his next chapter in Reception at school.
